Last Stocking of 2012

I'll be stocking a bunch of pads in my shop tomorrow, I had plans for a larger stocking but this is all I've gotten ready.  This month has been so busy!  

I'm looking forward to what's coming for 2013, I'm working on some new ideas and looking forward to getting them out there!

Winding Down

I added a few sets of serged pads to the shop today, I had hoped on a bigger stocking but it didn't work out that way.

I've got nearly all my Christmas crafting done, still some work to be done on the shopping end (dreading this) and I haven't even started baking yet (putting it off as long as I can so I can swiftly get it out of my house) and there's still lots of festive family things to do.

I will continue to keep the shop open and process orders through the holidays, my next stocking will likely be towards the beginning of January....I'm looking forward to it already!

Yarn Along

I have a couple projects on my needles right now, the variegated yarn is turning into a pair of leg warmers for me.  The peony Cestari yarn will be a simple tunic (using the Kaia Babydoll pattern) as part of Rowan's Christmas gifts.  I work on tunic while I put her to bed, it's dark enough in her room that she can't see what I'm knitting and the pattern is simple enough I can knit it in near darkness.

My evenings are spent on sewing and pattern cutting lately, I'm nearing the end of my Christmas crafting though so I'll be looking for something a bit more challenging to cast on.  I'd like to try some simple colour work, does anyone have any pattern suggestions?

I'm reading Elizabeth and After by Matt Cohen, I found it hard to get into and though I'm enjoying the story it hasn't gripped me yet.

Christmas Pads Reduced

I've just reduced the Christmas pads in the shop, and I'll be shipping orders on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday this week to get them into the mail as soon as possible!

Stocking Tomorrow

I'll be adding a few things to my Etsy shop tomorrow.  A few wet bags and some serged pads.  I've got some minky, cotton, and flannel topped pads to add some have PUL too.

I'll be working on some Christmas sewing over the weekend wrapping birthday gifts for my almost 9 year old (!) and hopefully getting some solo time at the fabric store where I'll be looking for a couple of new prints for pads and wet bags and a few things to finish up my holiday sewing.

Next week I'll be working on a few turned and topstitched pads for the shop so watch for those listings toward the end of the week.

Last of the Christmas Pads

I wasn't expecting to be able to get a stocking done this week, but I've managed to (somehow!).  I'm off to finish up my listings and later this weekend I'll continue to update my Flickr gallery, it's been in an embarrassing state lately and I'm slowly getting it built back up.  You can see some of the cotton prints I'll be adding at the bottom of this post.  I need to do some fabric shopping too, so it's not all that bad!

I've listed a few more Christmas pads and they'll likely be the last I list for in-stock since Christmas.
