Yarn Along ~ Another Sunday Sweater


I'm knitting another Sunday Sweater.  The summer started off cool and I thought Rowan could use another cardigan, naturally the weather has turned to hot and humid.  I'm knitting it with a Knit Picks cotton/linen blend and after some thinking decided this version will have short sleeves so it will see some wear over the summer.  I knit some extra lace repeats to allow for shrinkage with the cotton yarn.  I'm reading a copy of The Red Tent borrowed suitably from my mom, it's  enjoyable so far.

    I need a little girl to knit a sunday sweater for! It looks like such an interesting pattern.
    I really enjoyed that book when I read it last year.

    Always love the Sunday Sweater. Someday I'll get brave and attempt it myself. Right now I'm more comfortable with baby sweaters. :)

    The Red Tent? I've heard mixed reviews from a couple of friends. I'll be eager to see how you feel when you are finished.

    I like that blue. I've borrowed a copy of Red Tent from a friend but haven't started it yet...perhaps the time has come.

    gorgeous shade of blue! I bet the drape will be lovely with a cotton linen blend :)
